Disciplined Bodies is a repository for completed academic work that has to do with feminism, gender, and sexuality. Currently, it’s home to my PHILS 337 Portfolio. Accordingly, it will play host to articles, photos, pop culture artifacts, and political commentary. Not all of this material will represent my own views/thoughts on feminism/gender/sexuality; the purpose of this site (beyond getting marks for an assignment) is to provoke thought among myself and whomever else stumbles upon it (perhaps if I frame this as “play” rather than “work”, it will be easier to get started!).

In the future, I may post completed projects, such as informal pieces of writing, past WMST assignments (if I like them enough to share them), and my Honors thesis on gender and sexuality in the local burlesque scene.  As they never actually say in the radio and television industries, stay tuned.
